Rebecca Reddin, LMHCA, LMFTA, CDP

Rebecca is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, and Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a Chemical Dependency Professional certification and has been counseling pregnant and postpartum mothers since January 2018. Rebecca is working towards the completion of her Perinatal Mental Health Specialist Certification with Perinatal Support Washington. Through her employment in Community Mental Health and at Western Washington University,  Rebecca has experience working with women struggling with substance abuse and addiction as well as training and experience working with college students transitioning to adulthood.
With a focus on counseling clients through motherhood, Rebecca combines her background of mindfulness training with an understanding of the importance of how our relationships affect our experiences and expectations. She applies Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to assist clients in developing healthy boundaries and healthy relationships. Her work supports mothers in developing the skills to build robust support system, develop self care strategies and access their inner strength to adjust successfully to all aspects of motherhood.
 
As a mother herself, Rebecca cares deeply about helping women work through the transitions to motherhood; including family system adjustments, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, traumatic birth, attachment and infant loss. Rebecca believes whole-heartedly in the benefit of mental health counseling throughout each stage of the motherhood journey.
